The Disabled British Open will be broadcast on Sky Sports at the following times:

23/09/09 - starting at 17:00 on Sky Sports Xtra
23/09/09 - starting at 20:00 on Sky Sports Xtra
24/09/09 - starting at 01:30 on Sky Sports 3
24/09/09 - starting at 07:00 on Sky Sports 3

The competition took place over three days:

Sunday 23 August 2009

  • Optional practice round
  • Tee off times will be held from 2.00 - 3.00 pm for all competitors until August 1

Monday 24 August 2009

  • First round of the Disabled British Open
  • Registration and light breakfast for competitors from 9.00 am
  • Tee off times from 10.00 am
  • Three-course gala dinner at Old Thorns Golf & Country Estate at 7.00 pm - Dress Code: Smart Casual

Tuesday 25 August 2009

  • Second round of the Disabled British Open
  • Breakfast for guests and competitors staying at Old Thorns Golf & Country Estate from 6.00 am
  • Tee off times from 8.00 am
  • Presentation and prizegiving at 7.00 pm

The tournament will be divided into three categories with players competing in the following groups:

Category 1: Handicap 0 - 9.4
Category 2: Handicap 9.5 - 18.4
Category 3: Handicap 18.5 +
